EXPERIENCE    fulltime with emphasis on litigation cases and trial work

including divorce & custody(70%), criminal, drunk driving, real estate, landlord-tenant, personal injury, administrative hearings for license restoration with Secretary of State.

1987-1992. JUDGE - 54-B District Court, East Lansing, MI. Helped manage case load of 20,000 civil and criminal cases per year as chief judge managing 30 court employees, establishing a new computer system and planning a 2 million dollar budget each year.

TRIAL ATTORNEY -1966-1986 - Willingham, Cote, Hanslovsky, Griffith, &

Foresman, P.C., East Lansing, MI. In private practice of law for 20 years as a general practice trial lawyer with emphasis in civil and criminal litigation matters, including divorce and custody, personal injury, insurance defense, and real estate matters. Was a registered lobbyist in the State  Legislature and drafted legislation including: The Family Support Act; General Counsel to the Governor’s Office of Drug Abuse and Drafted 7411 Expungement Law and the entire Criminal Drug Substance Abuse Laws now presently in effect in Michigan; drafted Mini-Tort Law on property damage for vehicles still in effect in the No Fault Insurance area. Also was general counsel for ceiling tile corporation. Administrative law Experience included a volume of driver’s license appeal hearings before the Secretary of State, appeared before the Board of Dentistry and Board of Medicine and Board of Nursing.

1966-1971. ASSISTANT EAST LANSING CITY ATTORNEY - A part time

job trying ordinance cases for the City as prosecutor while

an attorney for Willingham, Cote, Hanslovsky, Griffith, & Foreman, P.C.

1964-1966. ASSISTANT INGHAM COUNTY PROSECUTOR – Tried felony and

misdemeanor cases and in charge of paternity division and created 1^st

appellate division. Represented the County and Michigan Secretary of State

in Court on license appeal cases.

SPECIAL LICENSES – Michigan REAL ESTATE Broker License, Active, Permanent

I.D. No. 6501067477, Expiration date 10/31/06. VETERAN-U.S. Army. INDIAN TRIBAL LAW, Admitted to practice in Saginaw Chipppawa Tribal Court in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
